ASE Certification

In our communications, you will frequently hear us refer to our ASE-certified mechanics. We are pretty proud of that certification, and we let you know about it because we think it will add to your comfort level when you drop your vehicle at Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck.

What does ASE certification mean for you?

Basically, it means we have the knowledge and expertise required to give your car or truck the attention it deserves. Through a series of tests, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence endorses our five ASE-certified Master Technicians to work on every mechanical and electrical component and system.  Those tests are ongoing and ensure that the technicians remain up-to-date on new technologies and current methods of working on the newest automobile models.

ASE-certified Master Technicians must keep current in eight areas: engine repair; engine performance; electrical systems; brakes; heating and air conditioning; suspension and steering; manual drive train and axles; and automatic transmissions. Technicians re-test every five years to keep their certification.

Lake Arbor Auto goes one step further in its affiliation with the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. We are a Blue Seal Certified Shop, meaning we are in the top 1 percent of shops in the nation – a designation we have earned every year since our inception. Shops that are recognized as Blue Seal Certified “recruit the best employees, support their training, and insist on the best equipment.” The Blue Seal means that any repair need you have will be handled quickly and professionally at Lake Arbor Automotive.
