Certifications

At Lake Arbor Automotive we are proud to have earned so many certifications. It takes a lot of work to earn them, but hopefully it will help you – our customer – feel confident choosing us for all your vehicle service and repair work.

The following information should help you understand what these certifications mean for you:

AAA Approved Auto Repair

Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck is a AAA Approved Repair Shop, meaning it meets the rigorous standards of the American Automobile Association. A certified shop must meet standards for cleanliness, proper tools, adequate technical training, and appropriate technician certifications.

In addition to having an impeccable repair shop, a certified facility must have a favorable opinion rating amongst its customers: AAA performs a survey of a significant number of the shop's customers and obtains their opinions "on how well the business meets their automotive service needs." The shop must score at least 90% on each question.

There are only 85 shops in Colorado that are qualified.

BBB Gold Seal Shop

Lake Arbor Automotive is a six-time BBB Gold Star winner, the Better Business Bureau's recognition for having had no complaints for an entire 36-month period. In fact, for the last eight years (and roughly 55,000 vehicle repairs and services), Lake Arbor has had no complaints from customers to the BBB.

As a member of the BBB, Lake Arbor Auto is in compliance with the highest standards and requirements for operating a business. (The BBB's Reliability Report for Lake Arbor Auto is available on their website for anyone to see.)

ASE Certified Technicians & Blue Seal Shop

Lake Arbor Auto employs five ASE Certified Master Technicians, a title which means that they are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence on every mechanical and electrical component and system.

An ASE Certification signifies a commitment to excellence by a technician. In order to be certified in an area, a technician must take difficult, national tests on the most current methods and models, meaning they must constantly be learning about new technologies as they are developed. ASE Certified Master Technicians must keep current certifications in eight areas: Engine Repair, Engine Performance, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Brakes, Heating and Air Conditioning, Suspension and Steering, Manual Drive Train and Axles, and Automatic Transmissions. Technicians must also re-test every five years in order to keep their certification.

Lake Arbor Automotive is also an ASE Blue Seal Certified Shop, meaning it is in the top 1% of shops in the nation (and has qualified for the designation every year since its inception). Shops that are recognized as Blue Seal Certified "recruit the best employees, support their training, and insist on the best equipment." The Blue Seal means that any repair need you have will be handled quickly and professionally at Lake Arbor Automotive.

For this reason, Lake Arbor Auto is the place to bring your car for auto repair that you can trust to get it right, the first time.

ASA National & State Member

The Automotive Service Association is the most prominent auto repair association in the country with over 13,000 business owner members. As a member of ASA, Lake Arbor Automotive has access to information on the most up-to-date vehicle technology, meaning your car will be fixed right, the first time. Also, as an ASA member, Lake Arbor Automotive must adhere to ASA's Code Of Ethics and professional business practices, meaning we must offer the highest quality and most ethical repair in order to continue being a member of ASA.
