Steering Repair

Steering issues are usually pretty easy for drivers to detect. If your vehicle is not handling properly, or it requires significantly more effort to steer your vehicle, or the wheel just feels “loose”, your rack and pinion may need replacement. If you experience these issues, do not continue driving without having a mechanic inspect the vehicle. If the issue deteriorates, you could lose control of your vehicle. The ASE certified mechanics at Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck will inspect your rack and pinion steering system for damage, wear, and leaks. We will also check the power steering pump and fluid for any signs of wear. If repairs are necessary, we will consult with you and can do the work onsite.
